Gaffer, where to start. Firstly, thank you for bringing me to this wonderful club that I now call my home. Your instant belief in me to not only sign me but make me the clubs vice captain & part of the leadership group from the get go is something I’ll always be thankful for.

Celtic fans gather in New York to watch their heroes on the tour of 1931. The postcard is a depiction of the former home of the New York Giants, the Polo Grounds, sadly long demolished. Celtic beat the Giants 3-2 here in the second game of their tour in front of 35,000 fans.

Charlie Gallagher, 171 appearances, 32 goals for his beloved Celtic. 2 caps for Ireland. A proper player and a proper gentleman.

Bent Martin, Danish keeper signed for Celtic soon after 2 stand out displays against them for Aarhus. Only Celtic appearance was in October 1966 Glasgow Cup semi final, beating Queens Park 4-0. Left for Dunfermline Athletic where he won a Scottish cup medal in 1968.

John Thomson Park, street in Portaferry, Co. Down. Don’t know if the Celtic supporters club is still on the go 🤔. Are there any other streets named after former Celtic stars?
