Thanks to the brilliant team of volunteers who came to help today at Crescent Garden. We had volunteers from our own group, plus teams from Crown Commercial Services and the Animal and Plant Health Agency. We edged the grass beds, weeded paths and cleared ivy from the walls.

Thanks to the team of around 30 volunteers from the Home Office who did a couple of hours work for us in Marine Garden yesterday. They weeding all round the steps and path near the rockery, making a massive improvement as you can see from the before and after photos.

Big thanks to the team from BDO, Liverpool, who spent today working in Marine Garden for us. They worked on weeding and edging the crazy paved path along the rockery and did a wonderful job! Thankyou - looking forward to our next volunteer session with you later this month. 🙂

Thanks to the volunteers who came along to help at this afternoon's session. We finally finished the last bit of path edging in Adelaide Garden - we have done every path in the garden now!

Big thanks to the team from BDO, Liverpool, who joined us yesterday for the second of their volunteer days. They continued along the crazy paved path in Marine Garden and got all the way to the end! The path is now twice as wide as it was!

We were half expecting today's gardening session to be rained off - but you can't keep good volunteers down! Despite constant and steadily worsening rain, we had 6 hardy volunteers who came to help. Well done everyone - hope you've dried out!

The weather turned lovely for our volunteer session this afternoon and we had a great turnout. Thanks to everyone who came along and a special thanks to the team from Graitec UK who gave us a volunteer afternoon and worked wonders on clearing the end of that crazy paved path!

Thanks to everyone who came along to litter picking this morning. It was a lovely morning for it! We collected 8 bags of rubbish and then a few of us sat in the sun with brews and biscuits. 😀

It was touch and go this morning with the weather, but a couple of hardy volunteers came along to help and we did a bit more work down by the rockery. Luckily we managed to avoid the rain!
