Cristatusaurus was a fragmentary spinosaur from Niger. Its validity has been a matter of debate, some suggesting it’s a synonym of Suchomimus and others arguing it’s a nomen dubium.

We trace the origin of air sacs in pterosaurs back to their Triassic forerunners. Using micro-CT on the pterosauromorph Venetoraptor, we show invasive air sacs were in place before true pterosaurs.
Microraptorians were among the most interesting dromeosaurs. Most were small, but some like Changyuraptor got to roughly turkey sized, which is not small at all for an animal that was likely gliding/flying
