That’s a wrap! These Cobb ALP Kennesaw Elementary Littles showed up every single morning to create JOY for our school. So proud of their leadership & learning. The bittersweet end of the year is sweeter…because donuts! #lovetothinkhere #makeitrelevant

I #lovetothinkhere (!) It’s exciting to be a part of a program that grows and challenges Ts in order to grow and challenge @cobbalp gifted learner. ❤️

Looking forward to my Cobb ALP Littles sharing their Highs, Lows and Buffaloes as we start learning together this year. It’s a neat way to get them to reflect on celebrations, challenges and just neat stuff! #lovetothinkhere

Found engineering object art. I love their excitement with seeing their flexible thinking using “junk drawer” objects to create their name plate! Inventors are flexible, creative thinkers. #lovetothinkhere

I love teaching Littles to lead their peers. What I didn’t catch was the “good job” when the feedback was received and practiced. They are Little but they can. We must give them space to feel empowered. #lovetothinkhere

When I say it is student created and led? These Cobb ALP 7 year olds would rival some HS media productions. We are day 12 of school & they are running the show by leading each other & I get to watch & beam with pride! Give them a reason to strive & they will. #lovetothinkhere

Practicing our kid-created Witty Wednesday segment before we go live. The inset Little researched and found 36 jokes to share. Let them lead. Joy happens! ❤️ P.S. Check out PiP technology so they can interact digitally live on screen. #lovetothinkhere

So excited for our Little Leaders Kennesaw Elementary It’s been incubating in my heart for some time to facilitate a group of young learners with a focus on leadership through literacy. Today was their first event and we are equally proud! #lovetothinkhere #makeitrelevant

It’s not about the toys. Building a toy timeline to understand concepts like innovation, change, properties & culture! The toys make it more relevant, engaging & evidently empowering! These 6 years olds are doing it without teacher direction. Why? They can! #lovetothinkhere

The case for show & tell. It’s rich language, it’s listening, it’s relationship forming. These Cobb ALP Littles shared their grownups’ favorite toys. Imagine my emotion when one said “This toy was invented the year my Mom was born…1986.” 😳 😂 #lovetothinkhere

We are definitely in our “Self-Regulation” era! We identified challenges we have & created bracelets w/one word or phrase to remind us when things get challenging that the power is within us to shape our response! Love when @cobbalp Littles see their potential. #lovetothinkhere

I love when Ts unknowingly collaborate. Thank you to Beth Finnegan for the magical story walk! It fit perfectly into our Cobb ALP affective standards. ❤️Check out our own Magical Yets we created to encourage us when we are learning new things. #lovetothinkhere

Authentic learning! Our Kennesaw Elementary Cobb ALP 1st graders transferred what they’ve learned about human toys to animal toys and made tug toys and cat pom poms to donate to Mostly Mutts in Kennesaw. Great morning! Animals teach us so much. ❤️#lovetothinkhere
