"When will I ever use this?" It's the question every math teacher hears! Last month, our very own Forrest Zoom'd in and showed a math class at Cherokee Trail High School (CO) exactly how statistics, probability, and even trigonometry power modern baseball and softball

Funny enough, I hated math in HS. For my math req. in college, I wrote essays. Took me years (and a few curveballs) to realize how much it mattered — esp. in BB & SB. Loved sharing that journey w/ the students at Cherokee Trail. Hope it planted a seed like someone once did for me
