What a great visit to the EF Belk & Son Electrical Contractor job site! Senior, Jose Jimenez-Lara, is gaining valuable experience as an electrical trades intern. He is working on an industrial project in the Apple Creek Corporate Center located in Dallas.

Our Nursing Fundamentals students are currently completing their clinical hours! Thank you, to Terra Bella Cramer Mountain-Senior Living Community, for being so welcoming! Our students are on their way to meeting the qualifications for Certified Nurse Aide testing.

Students had a great time learning about the career opportunities in our own back yard. Our March Lunch & Learn event showcased Carowinds, FedEx & Landmark builders!

Senior internship student, Calvin Hayes, is continuing to gain valuable experience working in quality control project management at IFab Corp., Gastonia. He was also featured in their latest newsletter! Way to go Calvin!

Even on a rainy day, there is always plenty to do with the City of Gastonia-Public Works Department. Senior, Garrett Hoyle (pictured in the middle) was working with a crew today clearing storm drains of debris. Nice work!

We were thrilled to send select Forestview students to participate in the 1st “Gaston County Intern for a Day” program. They learned all about the Library, Tax & County Manager’s office, Senior Center & the Environmental Services division of Public Works! It was an awesome day!

Early Childhood students are presenting wonderful lessons-planned, created and carried out to meet course and internship requirements. We have some awesome future teachers here! #cteworksforme

US Navy recruiters, Brennen & Horne, joined us today to share about the future our students can have serving in the Navy!

Mr. Austin’s Carpentry 2 student & peer helper, Matthew Bradley and Andrew McIntire, constructed four new picnic tables for the Senior Court Yard! They did a great job-learning in action to benefit the school grounds! #cteworksforme
