Y5 mystery/suspense using ‘Darkest Dark’ Chlo’s writing units they shared have been super helpful in upping my English planning game! @DetailDetects1 has changed how I use picture books! Claire Sleath is a wealth of knowledge and the padlet was 🤩in planning this unit!

My class and I got to “the twist” today. Gobsmacked!!! Someone make this into a series/film… We all sighed when we realised it was home time and we couldn’t just speed through the rest of the book.
