Hello everyone, Today marks 3 full years since this account was started, and I’m here to announce the ending of Daily Thomas Models. With life getting busier as time goes, along with X/Twitter getting worse as time goes, now feels like the right time to bring it to an end.

You should all know the drill by now. Send me Percy related stuff

And for our last model, here’s my original model of Thomas that started it all, & lead to the creation of Daily Thomas Models!

1/ Here’s something I’ve wanted to release for a long time: a folder of 3D scans of all my face casts is now public! drive.google.com/drive/folders/… Huge thanks to the donors who helped me get a scanner, and to my friends who provided the castings (thread below)🧵

2/ In this folder, you’ll find both raw and fixed versions of each expression. The raw scans are untouched - the faces are exactly as I received them - while the fixed versions are cleaned up, watertight, and ready for resin printing or as an underlay for digital recreation.

3/ I felt it was crucial to share the raw scans. My fixes are of course, speculative, and could contain errors. If anyone wants to do this work themselves, I wanted to make this option available to you all.

4/ This is a living document. Some faces don't yet have a fixed version available - I'm working through them slowly. I’ll add new scans as I get new faces too. This is a big, ongoing project but I'm hopeful that it will help a lot of people.

5/ I’d love to expand this collection and collaborate with others. If you have face casts I don’t, please DM me! I’d be happy to offer something in return - possibly a trade or gift for your help.

6/ I'm calling out to Machan of Sodor Daniel Coffey TheThomasFan Skarloey Railway Adventure OG Top Props and anyone else with original faces. I’d love your help to help build a full library of all the faces we have collectively. I hope this is just the beginning!
