We have a SkillsUSA National Champion!! Isaac Pittman of Grain Valley Schools achieved gold in Mobile Electronics. Bonus: CTC grad Tanner Todd, also an alumnus of Grain Valley, secured his THIRD national gold medal in three years in the post-secondary Mobile Electronics competition!

We still have 5+ weeks of summer before we welcome students back, but our team is prepping for 2025-2026! We're in New Orleans this week for the SREB conference, tackling topics ranging from ethical use of AI to digital literacy. Excited to kick off the new year!

Our team conquered the Southern Regional Education Board Escape Room! They took it up to the wire (just under 55 minutes) while using teamwork, critical thinking, and some helpful hints from their SREB moderators to solve puzzles rooted in board games. #escaperoom #CTCLeads

Our first two weeks involve safety training, a vital part of our industries. Our teachers mix in activities like taping off crime scenes, practicing morning formations, & going on building tours. Adds fun to the day & provides a preview of what's to come later in the semester!
