Lucky me! Stunning Vallée de la Clarée & Massif des Cerces in the French Alps is my playground for the next few days. Right near Briançon, with endless hiking trails to explore. Mountain air, epic views, alpine flora and pure adventure await - can't wait to hit those trails!

Where mountain pines and larches ascend, clinging to the peaks, their realms of resilience etched in the sky ...

🌳🧬1/ Forests face escalating threats from pathogens due to climate change & global trade. Yet forest pathology lags behind crop science in understanding microbe-host dynamics at the molecular level. Why? We lack the model systems that revolutionized plant pathology.
