Very excited to share this work that we have just published on simple but high performance photodetectors based on a hybrid heterojunction with CuSCN - the material that keeps on giving!! šš Thomas Anthopoulos Dimitra Georgiadou @JunYan_imperial Mohammed Azzouzi onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.10ā¦

Our Jenny Nelson Group paper on hybrid heterojunctions for semi-transparent photovoltaic windows for photoelectrochemical water splitting is out in CRPS! Great collaboration with Anna Hankin, Mariano and Andreas, loved working (and re-learning photoelectrochemistry) with you!

Doing this was so much fun! Loved trying to demonstrate āpaintedā organic solar cells and make a solar oven as part of Imperial College London Outreachās brilliant STEM in Action Programme! āŗļø štinyurl.com/2p9c7z34

Excited to share that Iāll be moving to the other side of the pond for the next six years! Iāll first be joining the Flatiron CCA as a Flatiron Research Fellow before joining Princeton University as a Henry Norris Russell Fellow. I canāt wait to continue using TESS to find more planets!š

Many, many congratulations to Jenny Jenny Nelson Group for receiving the Cherry Award at the 50th 53nd IEEE PVSC!! What an amazing role model as a scientist and person - feeling very privileged to be able to call her a mentor and a friend.

Starting an Imperial College Research Fellowship in the Department of Materials today š š„³very excited by the new challenge!! Imperial Materials

If you are a UK student and identify as from an underrepresented group in research, Queen Mary University of London has fully funded PhD scholarships available (app-deadline 31st Jan). If youāre interested in sustainable energy conversion (PV or solar fuels) Iād love to support your application!

Our work on bulk heterojunction organic photoactive materials for #photoelectrochemical water oxidationāwith high photocurrent density and days-long stabilityāand unassisted #solarhydrogen generation is now available open access in Nature Energy! nature.com/articles/s4156ā¦
