Day 2 Highlights 1/2: The #RegionalAgroecologyConference2024 had a huge turnout from the farming community, CS0s, financial institutions, policy makers and service providers. CGIAR CGIAR Multifunctional Landscapes #AgroecologyInitiative farmers attended the event to share learnings with others.
The afternoon of day 1 at CIFOR-ICRAF was another exciting time with youth farmers from CSHEP_KENYA in Kiambu & farmers, stakeholders and the team under the CGIAR #AgroecologyInitiative from ๐ฟ๐ผ and the team from ๐ฐ๐ช visited the soil labs, gene bank, & tree nursery.
So much is achieved when knowledge gained is shared among people with a common interest. A visit to DRYLANDS NATURAL RESOURCES CENTRE(DNRC) in Makueni County Government from๐ฟ๐ผ farmers and youth farmers from CSHEP_KENYA under the CGIAR #AgroecologyInitiative #INALL exchange showed how forestry can be integrated
