The release of 'Disappointed' on 17/10/94 was supported by an extensive UK tour (best gigs Sheffield Leadmill, London Garage and Bath Moles). Shame the record company couldn't afford to do a video!

My old band Flamingoes released our third single OTD 1994. Remember laconic Lamacq giving it a spin on R1. Also the seemingly endless tour around the UK as the autumn deepened and Supergrass took over the country...

And this is the tour. Flamingoes autumn '94. Some of these iconic venues (Sheffield Leadmill & Bath Moles) are no sadly longer with us. We didn't get to play the late date, Rugeley's Red Rose Theatre, for some reason (a shame as it's still a beautiful venue & theatre space).

Here’s Flamingoes getting their NME new band introduction 30 years ago this week. Fun fact: the Cook brothers went to the same school as me (a few years before I joined). I wonder which house they were in? I’m going to hope Pierson like me.
