The oils in some paints, stains, and varnishes release heat as they dry, and that heat can cause ignition if applicators are left in a pile, a box, or a trash bag. We have a big storm coming tomorrow. That increases the #CarbonMonoxide risks at home! Generators and blocked exhaust vents often contribute to CO poisoning. Keep those vents clear and be sure your CO alarms are working properly w/ fresh batteries in the event of power outages!
