Such fun doing a rocket workshop with Ballymore after school club. We made straw rockets, tested stomp rockets, created our own rockets for stomping and then blew it out with effervescent rockets Oide Primary STEM 🚀

Thoroughly enjoyed working with St Fhionains NS on our sustainable city project. We incorporated Makey Makey recycle bins, electric cars, LED houses, cress head growth and Micro:bit Educational Foundation step carbon counters. Thanks to Department of Education and Youth for funding under the ESD programme

Used my old skills as an adventure instructor to lay out an orienteering course for some local schools Coillte had a map for Ards Forest but some posts were missing so I put some new markers out. It was great to see the children using map reading and teamwork skills 🌳

Raining today so thought I'd try this wee project by Brown Dog Gadgets Using mini motors, maker tape and coin cell batteries to make a spinning pinwheel. Pretty cool indeed 👍 #STEMEducation #circuits Research Ireland Curious Minds
