Before the lunch break I put forward an amendment to fund the Firehall Arts Centre accessibility upgrades! It’s 2024. This beloved city-owned arts space should be accessible to all. Council will discuss and vote on it at 1pm. #ArtsAndCulture #VanPoli
Well, this failed. Cllr Klassen and ABC Vancouver delayed it with a vague motion to “explore” funding these long overdue #accessibility upgrades in 2026-2029. 😩😭 So disappointing. Especially after Cllrs toured the space recently. Another failure of leadership. #VanPoli
