Yesterday saw the Fire-Dragons back in action with a Friendly vs Bury Allstars. A fantastic first goal from the opposition and then a mistake by us saw us 2 goals down, after which we fought back to win 5-4. A great pre-season game. MoTM for Luke and Gary 👏👏

On Saturday the Fire-Dragons played a late pre-season friendly vs East Leigh Bolts. It ended a 3-0 win, a very physical game. Fitness is looking good for this point in the season. Overall very positive. Goals: Luke x 2; Oliver x 1 Assists: Paul x 1: Isaak x 2 MoTM for Cameron👏

Fire-Dragons have had 4 losses in the league, a win, and 2 draws, but the kids have kept their heads up and had some good performances. This Saturday we had a great result in the first round of the cup vs Atherton Cols. Goals Paul x 2; Theo x 1. MoTM was our captain, Sammo!

What a start to the year for our Emerging Talent Centre participants 😀🏆 🔴 Our Under-11s, 13s and 15s played some fantastic football in matches against Preston North End Community and Education Trust and Chester FC Community Trust 🤌 Well done, girls - a great day had by all ⚽️🙌

The 16th December saw the Fire-Dragons head to Little Lever FC. Fire-Dragons were able to quickly take control in this game in foggy conditions and a heavy pitch, ending up 5-1 winners. Goals: Paul x 2; Luke x 2; IDS x 1 Revive Mortgages MoTM, was our super centre back Kian🏆

The 13th January saw the Fire-Dragons play East Leigh Bolts at home in the league. This was a tight game on a difficult pitch. Goals from both sides. In the end it was a 4-4 draw. Goals: IDS x 1; Jake x 1; Luke x 1; Paul x 1 Revive Mortgages MoTM, our midfield Maestro, IDS🏆

Update: 3rd Feb saw the Fire-Dragons in action at home in the BBDFL league against East Leigh Bolts. This was a close game on a tough pitch ending in a 2-3 loss. Revive Mortgages MoTM was Leo 🏆. He has come on leaps and bounds and has great energy in the midfield

17th Feb saw AFC Monton Fire-Dragons in action in the local Derby, playing away to Winton Wanderers Dragons. In tough conditions they managed to play some good football finishing 4-2 winners 👏 Goals: Luke x 3 IDS x 1 Assists: Paul x 1 Kian x 1 Revive Mortgages MoTM Luke 🏆

2024-04-20 The Fire-Dragons competed in the BBDFL "League Cup" quarter final vs a strong Salford Lads Club. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be. However, they managed to score and gave a good account against strong opposition. Goals: Paul⚽️ MoTM Jake🏆
