↗️ Work across the 'system' at all layers of Government, National Bodies and organisations must be coordinated and sustained.

♥️The 2030 target can and MUST be met #keepthepromise

↗️ Work to #keepthepromise is happening in a challenging context that was not anticipated in 2020.

The Promise Oversight Board recognised this in Report TWO, whilst also making clear that it makes the need for change even more necessary.

Today, The Promise Oversight Board published their second report on the progress of The Promise. In light of its conclusion that initial targets are unlikely to be met, we believe, now more than ever, that we must work together to #KeepThePromise by 2030.

The Promise Scotland is alive in NorthLanCouncil with my team being part of the fundamental shifts in both policy and practice across the authority.

Since 2020 we have:

Ran an extensive corporate parenting survey to create our promise and me partnership plan✅
