Creating file and folder structures on mac is tedious. That's why I'm building File Architect, an app that allows you to do it with plain text. Just write your structure, use tabs to nest folders, and hit create. It’s local, private, and fast.

You can use File Architect in the terminal too with the open-source CLI available at github.com/filearchitect/…

File Architect now has a library of file structure templates. This allows you to open the structure blueprint in the app to get started fast. You can use it as a starting point for a structure or hit create to get the structure created right away.
