We are excited to share our new discovery on 'Aziridine Group Transfer via Transient N-Aziridinyl Radicals' in J. Am. Chem. Soc.. Check it out! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jaβ¦ Huge shout out to Promita Biswas, Asim Maity and Matthew Figgins π

Interested in aziridine chemistry? Check out our work J. Am. Chem. Soc. for completely new way to introduce aziridine in organic molecule.

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Sir Fraser Stoddart, Nobel Laureate and cherished member of Northwestern. His groundbreaking contributions transformed the field of #chemistry and inspired countless scientists worldwide. β‘οΈ bit.ly/stoddart-in-meβ¦

Our latest work on P-P coupling with and without M-P intermediates is now live on J. Am. Chem. Soc. ! Great work by Rick (Richard Thompson ), Matt (Matthew Figgins), Duleeka (Duleeka Wannipurage) and our amazing collaborators at the Gutierrez Group (OG_labs). pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jaβ¦

As promised, part 2 is out today! Fantastic work from Sven Schneider πΊπ¦, Powers Lab and lead author Marc Christian Neben! Transient Triplet Metallopnictinidenes MβPn (M = PdII, PtII; Pn = P, As, Sb): Characterization and Dimerization | pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jaβ¦

PβP Coupling with and without Terminal MetalβPhosphorus Intermediates | Journal of the American Chemical Society Texas A&M University Chemistry Department @gutierrez_lab pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jaβ¦

Principal Investigators David Powers (Powers Lab) and Osvaldo Gutierrez along with researchers at Texas A&M University demonstrate that while diphosphorus complexes can arise from reactive MβP species, PβP coupling can also proceed directly from MβPCO species without the intermediacy of MβP

Excited to share our recent collaborative contribution on redox flow batteries in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces on redox tuning of benzotriazole negolytes via conformational control. Congratulations to Uddalak Sengupta and Gurkan group from Case Western Reserve University. pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10β¦

ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces Uddalak Sengupta Redox tuning via conformational control is dependent on the LUMO energy and the reduction potential as well as between the HOMOβLUMO energy gap and the rate of electron transfer. Kudos to Matthew Figgins for establishing the correlation via DFT calculations.
