Annual leave. I didn’t realise how tired I was until I got to our holiday destination. I’m fortunate to be away but I am thinking about my colleagues who continue to hold the line, safeguard the most vulnerable and investigate the most harmful crimes. #HoldTheLine

I’ve worked for the last few years where we had responsibility for crime of a large prison. Prison officers assaulted on an almost daily basis. Not much in the way of PPE. In my opinion welcome news. Potentially reduce demand on Police as well. news.sky.com/story/tasers-t…

Good friend and colleague. A skipper with just under 10 years service has resigned today. He has 25yrs to go and his work life balance just isn’t there. Hearing more and more stories of good mid service level officers leaving the job. Experience creeping out of the door!
