What an amazing honour! Sarah Stubbs (Spooky Sarah Says) has created a Letterboxd list inspired by my @RueMorgue article on pizza and horror—along with other influences. If you love horror movies and a good slice, check it out—and be sure to follow Sarah for more film lists!

Finally got to watch Anora (2024) and loved how it makes difficult worlds feel both beautiful and funny 💕. There’s a great burger scene too—a rare moment of respite for all the characters, even though they’re on opposing sides. (1/2)

It reminded me of other iconic burger scenes, where the burger becomes more than just food: a symbol of integration, a memory of authenticity, an illusion of belonging, or even the victory of the new over the old. Do you have a favorite burger scene? Let me know 🍔⬇️ (2/2)

WATCH THE SKIES ★★★☆☆ Watch the Skies is a tender core wrapped in cosmic chaos. It is an uneven but affecting genre blend, part satirical sci-fi, part intimate character study. Think Interstellar meets Ad Astra by way of Don’t Look Up, with a touch of There’s Something in
