If you have half an hour and Netflix, I urge you to watch the short documentary A 3 MINUTE HUG (Un abrazo de tres minutos) about families separated by the border for years, decades even, who get to see and hug each other for three brief minutes. It’s heartbreaking but essential.

Finally back to CAMPUS TOURS for FCC UB students, today we made it out to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Got a chance to check out this CSU campus in the Central Coast. From there we made it out to Avila Beach for some much needed relax time. #trioworks #westopcencal #SLOmustangs

College students from TRIO SSSP, along w/ TRIO SSS CTE-Stem & International Studies just got back from a trip to University of Southern California (USC) & also went to visit Hollywood Blvd. This was the 1st time out there for many of our 1st Gen and International Students.

On Wed, April 26th, we celebrated our FCC Trio SSS & SSS CTE-STEM Graduates, certificates &transfer students. It was amazing to see their perseverance shared that it can be done for 1st Gen students coming from low income upbringings. Over $20,000 in scholarships given! 💯💰👩🏾‍🎓🧑🏻‍🎓
