#FlashbackFriday: March 8, 2016 ✊ when we joined the #WomensDay march with our own special message: women's rights & liberation MUST involve improving our relationship with technology. The world of STEM is yet another male-dominated space that needs a major overhaul.

What makes our Community Tech Centres special is that they're spaces for learning technology as well as ownership 💻 🤝 Each participant is equally responsible for using and caring for equipment and maintaining the centre. Here are participants setting up our Himachal centre 😁

It all started with photography classes, when Jyoti joined our #YoungWomenLeadershipProgram. Today, she is a member of our Management Committee. She believes in challenging societal norms and prove that anyone can excel and thrive in any field they choose.

15 young learners, 7 Leaders in training, and 2 Champions from our Delhi office - that's what our feminist network looks like! And everyone in this photo has the same goal - to master tech skills and stand on their own two feet.

What can a smartphone do for marginalised women in India? Technology stands for agency. At FAT, we have used tech to encourage to take an active leadership role within their community, which will further ensure greater gender equality in our society. #GirlsInSTEM #DigitALL
