This week in Nairobi, we're working with Kenya Met Department 🇰🇪 to bring near real-time storm information to Kenya via a smartphone app. The @FASTAWeather team have met with potential users ranging from aviation, community leaders, agriculture and disaster management.

It's likely to be sunny and dry in most of the country. However, as shown in Figure 1, occasional rainfall is anticipated over some areas of the Coast, Northeastern Kenya, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Central and South Rift Valley, the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley.

Most of the country is likely to experience sunny, dry weather from October 25 to October 31st, 2022. However, some regions of the Coast, North Eastern Kenya, Central Rift Valley, Highlands West of the Rift Valley, Lake Victoria Basin are expected to receive rainfall, as shown.
