I've used em-dashes my whole life — they add rhythm and grace to writing. But now they're an AI tell. Can we get a grandfather clause for those of us who were fluent in em-dashes before ChatGPT launched in November 2022?

I was at a Swansea City football game once where those of us with radios heard that Cardiff City was to be relegated from the premier league, and a minute later as the news spread, the stadium erupted in cheers and celebration. Radios! A brilliant moment in the Olden Days 😂

here at nvidia we asked ourselves “what if we removed the artists’ creative expression and replaced it with revolting dogshit slop”

Jurassic Park’s first Brachiosaurus reveal is still pure movie magic. 30 seconds of awe, silence, and John Williams. Nearly 30 years later, still gives chills.
