Everyone is battling mosquitoes & gnats right now… but out here on the farm? Not an issue. We’ve got dragonflies—everywhere. They thrive thanks to our regenerative practices and aren’t wiped out by the usual glyphosate sprays. Nature’s pest control.

The internet reports that the United States has lost over 140,000 farms between 2017 and 2022. The aging farmer population means fewer young farmers are stepping in to continue their family's legacy. Land is one of the few non-depreciating assets, and we are seeing more and more

Our young guinea hens are hard at work in (and out) the chicken tractor, clearing bugs and fertilizing the soil—right alongside a thriving patch of sugarcane. This is regenerative agriculture in motion: animals working in sync with the land, building soil health, reducing pests

Today, and every day, we honor the hands that make it all possible 🌱 Day in and day out, our farmworkers pour heart and grit into every row, every harvest, every season. On Farmworkers Appreciation Day, we celebrate their skill, resilience and the vital role they play in caring

This is what your chicken should look like before it ends up on your plate. Raised on pasture. In the sun. and, in our case, among the olive trees. Not under neon lights. Not in cages. Not on antibiotics. We raise animals the way they were designed to live—so you can eat the

Out here, we see nature’s surprises every day. This one is called corn smut, or huitlacoche — a rare fungus that grows on ears of corn. Some see it as crop loss, but others see it as a culinary treasure. Watch to see what I think. okefarm.com
