In the last eight years, I was honored to help many endoscopists to start their ESD practice. One of the observations I noted is that endoscopists gain sufficient ESD skills and perform around 20 to 30 cases before they start scheudling the procedure intermittently and

Fares Ayoub: Our patient-driven prospective study, 75% of patients with post-POEM GERD undergoing TIF had stopped or significantly reduced PPI use. Post-POEM TIF is safe and effective and may be a viable alternative to PPI for POEM-related GERD journals.lww.com/sjga/fulltext/…

Great job Fouad Jaber, MD, MS putting this together. We have a sizeable cTIF practice at BCM Gastroenterology and I feel it is an excellent addition to the armamentarium of anti reflux procedures. Patient selection is key and we’ve had great success with hernias less than 5 cm.

Yes I’m biased. But this will be great - particularly if you’re in a busy clinical practice and just need one concentrated update session on the latest and greatest in the field, join us!

Hear me out: this R0 resection of an 8 cm ascending colon LST wasn’t easy. But I did it, and, with the right tools, skills & mentors (Mohamed Othman): you can too. This course ⬇️ is where my ESD journey started. Join us! ESD in the US is not only possible, but truly exciting.

Fantastic work by BCM Gastroenterology fellow Fouad Jaber, MD, MS presenting our work on national referral patterns for endoscopic versus surgical resection of non-malignant colorectal polyps at #DDW2025

Great job by Fouad Jaber, MD, MS the data finally reflects what we’re seeing on the ground: endoscopic resection is effective and safe and for the vast majority of benign lesions is the right choice. #DDW2025
