TEDxAkure I volunteered to be a part of this and I am absolutely hyped and looking forward to being a part of this event.

Another day, another step in the right direction. I am learning and building as I go and I am loving every bit of it.

Today, I learnt about content ideation and how storytelling can be used to transform our climate crisis and I look forward to applying what I learnt soon.

Another day to take small steps and document the growth.

I've learnt so much and I'm still growing but the best part is I love every step of the journey.

Storytelling through books from my own POV

Words have always been my own way of expressing myself and I am learning how to weave words into stories through Writing and other forms of Storytelling. I had an idea and I came up with this to express myself through Visual Storytelling. I struggled a bit but I still did it. 🎉

Applying for this opportunity was a very difficult decision for me to make because I didn't feel like I had all it took to be eligible. Despite that, I still went ahead to fill the 7 paged application form and I clicked submit. Cheers to pushing through in the face of fear🍻🥂

I took these photos less than a minute apart and yet, the difference is glaring. I remember how taking the second picture made my skin burn while the soles of my feet stung. This is one of the effects of climate change and if we don't start taking action, it will only get worse.

It can be quite hard, starting out in a niche/field without much resources or individuals to look up too but the beautiful thing is that you get to do things your own way, figuring things out as you go. It is indeed one of the most beautiful things about building.

It's 5:27pm here in Akungba-Akoko and the sun is shining intensely like the fury of an angry god. The heat is unbearable and it feels so so unfair. It hasn't always been this bad. Maybe, just maybe if we treat our environment better, it will treat us much more better in return.
