On Sunday 5/22/2022, The Department of Boating & Waterways issued a Hazardous Waterway Advisory for multiple individuals who were injured at the dam In return, the Stapleton County Fire Department and Law Enforcement pinched in to help rescue and safely extract the individuals.

📢Waterway Advisory Update: SAFE The incident under the FS98 has been taken care of. A member of the Department of Boating and Waterways was involved in an accident, causing a hazard to nearby boaters traveling below FS98. Further statements will be released at a later point.
