Watching "The Wiz" for the 1st time. I've had the DVD for decades, but never really got the urge to watch it. It's on Tubi until the end of August. Finally watching it. It's...different.

Ok...I'm 1 hour 3 minutes into "The Wiz". Music is great. Dorothy's character development is a bit fast. HOW DID THIS TURN INTO A STEPHEN KING MOVIE RIGHT NOW? I'm pretty sure this was made before "Return To Oz". Dystopian Oz really was a vibe back then?

So an hour 29 minutes in. The Emerald City color changing scenes were very intelligent if you're aware of the literary stuff behind the "Wizard Of Oz" having themes about the money standard debate of the late 1800s early 1900s. Got 44 minutes left.

Finished watching "The Wiz". It's definitely unique. I think the West Witch needed to be in it more. Dorothy's character development is a bit fast going from shy to saving the Scarecrow. Oz is an urban dystopia. It's also a weird inverse of NYC.

She's a racist. A black supremacist. She's free to leave the USA & move to Africa. See how she likes not having her American rights. Dealing with wild animals, cannibal tribes, & militant dictators. Let her deal with Boko Haram. Segregation is evil.

4360 high score at Berzerk! I rather like this game. It's shooting robots but don't touch the walls because they kill ya too. Never had this one as a kid I think. I'm getting better at it.
