Today's fuel for the 🔥 from European Theatre Convention (ETC): women have less secure contract situations than men and are “less present at the top of the hierarchy” Also unsurprisingly, white, cis, heterosexual and non-disabled people dominate positions at the top of the theatres.

Why we don't use "womxn" or "female-identifying". Gender is more complex and personal than 140 characters but we talk a lot about language & inclusivity and we're always open to learning & changing. Drop us a line if you want to chat about how our language can be more inclusive.
