NSF confirms all review panels, new awards, and payments under existing awards are paused. Specifically calls on grantees to comply with EOs by ceasing any grant activity that uses or promotes DEIA principles.

I'm being told that despite the court order pausing the Trump administration's funding freeze, the NSF is still pausing all payments of funds for open grants while they review awards that could be impacted by EOs.

This is now out of date given OMB rescinded the memo that spurred the spending freeze.

Update: On Friday, a second federal judge ordered federal agencies, including NSF specifically, to resume payments to existing grants. As of now, funds are still frozen.
