Regardless of trades, I hope the Hawks spend the rest of the season playing intense defense, fouls be damned. They routinely get pummeled by teams that foul so often the refs allow. The Hawks need to earn the reputation that gets you that leeway with officials.

Whatever the Hawks get in return for Trae Young, 2 things are true. 1) Hawks fans will declare that it wasn't enough. 2) Fans of other teams that could have used the offensive boost will claim that the team could and should have made a better offer.

Marvin Bagley III has been lowkey putting up good numbers. His per/36 stats this year are 10 rebounds & 1.3 blocks. Those would be 2nd to Jalen in rebounding and 3rd behind KP & Mo in blocks. He's low volume from 3, but has hit 43% of them. A solid backup if in a trade deal.

I'm at the point in my life that when a show comes back from hiatus, I have to research it to figure out if I had been watching it and then watch the end of the previous season to remind myself what was going on.

Last year Trae focused on developing the young players and getting them into spots to succeed offensively because that's what the team asked him to do. He's coachable and amenable as long as a team shows financial faith in him.
