In Lego Club, we have been doing an Alphabet challenge. Each week we are given a letter and we have to make something beginning with that letter. This week it was the letter ‘t’. What fantastic creations!

This week in forest schools class 2 have enjoyed making lots of different things from natural objects. We created some natural faces using objects from the nature area and made clay faces on the trees.

Class 2 enjoyed their trip to Wharton Park. We listened to the story Twas the night before Christmas then we went on a reindeer hunt and made some Christmas crafts.

This afternoon class 2 got to use their fantastic skills making decorations for our nature area. We used palm drills and chestnut clamps to screw a hole into conkers and sticks and then threaded string through them creating mobiles. We also made some creative mud paintings.

Congratulations to the winners of our colouring competition. We had some wonderful entries and it was very difficult for school council to choose the winners. Well done everyone!
