Poet fam - what are some poems that do a good job of describing/capturing a really exquisite beauty? The beautiful "thing" described could be anything - I'm more interested in the types of language used, etc.

We’re hiring now for 2 tenure-line positions in Indigenous Studies: open-field at asst level, & Native history at the asst or assoc level. Warm community, 2-2 load. Our positions include an automatic course release every 3rd semester (or complete teaching release every 6th).

Today's issue 6.1 highlight is "Mass Thermal Anomalies" This incredible poem by Erika Luckert contemplates the effects of climate change on Earth. Rife with themes of renewal, loss, grief, and evolution, it asks the question of what it means to be a steward of our home.

Excited to share that I’ve accepted a TT position at the University of Southern Mississippi as an Assistant Professor of English, and their Director of Composition! It’s bittersweet to leave Lincoln, but @jasonbmccormick and I are looking forward to exploring Hattiesburg!
