Reviewers and critics take note: There are lots of new titles here that we'd like covered The Adroit Journal. theadroitjournal.org/about/call-for…

A reading of remarkable poems by some UNL graduate students I have the privilege of working with. sheldonartmuseum.org/poetry-in-the-…. Thanks to the Sheldon Museum of Art for hosting this lovely event.

...& Friday, October 7, 5:30-7:30pm Francie & Finch Bookshop: NWC + Lincoln Prison Book Project reading (featuring Ryan Boyland, UNL alum Trey Moody, & UNL Department of English students @katiemarya13 & Bianca Swift) & book drive for libraries in Nebraska correctional facilities. (3/3)

Thanks Joy Castro and Indigo Bridge! This will be my last reading in Nebraska before I move to upstate New York. Looking forward to reading from my debut collection, Bone Language (@YesYesBooks) at the first bookstore I visited when I moved here. If you’re in the area, join us!

Today's issue 6.1 highlight is "Mass Thermal Anomalies" This incredible poem by Erika Luckert contemplates the effects of climate change on Earth. Rife with themes of renewal, loss, grief, and evolution, it asks the question of what it means to be a steward of our home.
