In August, TCPA members were honored to have seven projects totaling 3,826 MW selected by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) to advance to due diligence under the Texas Energy Fund (TEF) In-ERCOT Generation Loan Program.

Today, the PUCT endorsed an additional 1,231 MW of new generation resources by TCPA members to proceed to due diligence under the TEF. This brings the potential new generation by TCPA members in this program to 5,057 MW.

TCPA members have a proven track record of responsibly building and operating natural gas generation resources in ERCOT and are proud to have nine projects selected to help meet the growing dispatchable generation needs of Texas.
