The storms in northern Minnesota are producing red sprites. I have captured at least one so far from southern Minnesota. If you can see clear skies above that storm it is worth trying for sprites. Good luck!

I happened to capture this meteor while trying for sprites last night. It was very windy which caused the trail to show this wavy path as the wind affected the position of the camera. For anyone who could use a laugh right now.

18 years ago today I saw this rotating wall cloud. Though the wall cloud persisted for quite a long time it did not produce a tornado. Somehow this image made the front page of the paper. 7/3/2007

I was reviewing my footage from the aurora on 10/10/2024 and I noticed I caught a meteor with the aurora that night.

I captured a decent meteor last night while trying for red sprites. Better than nothing.
