I made a tool called Diffusion Explorer that lets you to train and visualize simple 2D diffusion and flow models live in the browser. You can draw your own distributions and observe how the generated samples converge during training. Try it live ๐Ÿ‘‡

I am alarmed by the proposed cuts to U.S. funding for basic research, and the impact this would have for U.S. competitiveness in AI and other areas. Funding research that is openly shared benefits the whole world, but the nation it benefits most is the one where the research is

Okay I read the MIT "Your Brain on ChatGPT" preprint. (well, it's 140 pages long, so I read about 1/3 of it and skimmed the boring parts) Here are my takeaways: ๐Ÿงต

This study is being massively misinterpreted. College students who wrote an essay with LLM help engaged less with the essay & thus were less engaged when (a total of 9 people) were asked to do similar work weeks later. LLMs do not rot your brain. Being lazy & not learning does.

I spent some time playing with this at ICRA and was actually really impressed. What a cool piece of technology. We need affordable, widely-available tactile sensors to enable research

My work here is truly done. Nobody with intellectual integrity can still believe that pure scaling will get us to AGI. GPT-5 may be a moderate quantitative improvement (and it may be cheaper) but it still fails in all the same qualitative ways as its predecessors, on chess, on
