Our Sheffield MBE team attended the 2025 UK MBE meeting at the University of Warwick this week. Dr Edmund Clarke, Dr Pallavi Patil, Dr Akshay Verma and Senior Technician Richard Frith engaged in research presentations and networking with industry and academic experts. #ukmbe

Our Head of Characterisation Dr Paul Fry attended SIOE 2025 conference this week at Cardiff University , organised by Compound Semiconductor Hub. Paul gave a presentation showcasing the NEF's role & capabilities including an introduction to the facility's new Micro-Transfer Printing tool.

We held our bi-annual PhD Open Day yesterday at The University of Sheffield for undergraduate students to find out more about our Facility and PhD studentships. Our funded PhD studentships are available on the research & development of the epitaxy of semiconductor materials and devices.
