I did the worst journey of my life last night, waited an hour in a cold bus station and walked home late at night after my mom died. No one in the family offered to get me from the airport. My uncle flies in from London today and he's had multiple offers, make it make sense.

Sunny days feel hard, especially now it's spring. My mom loved spring, daffodils, baby lambs being born, the nice weather starting to return.

Going through mom's things, she kept the newspapers where I was first published back when I was going to be a journalist 🥹

Last day in West Didsbury today 😭 I'm happy to be moving back to London but Didsbury holds a special place in my heart. It looked after me, helped me grow, and changed my outlook. Mancunians are the best people, so friendly and genuine ♥️
