Most organisms shed DNA in their habitat. This #environmentalDNA can be picked up by new methods and was mainly used for finding elusive species. A new paper by our Dr. Kathryn Stewart💧🧬 shows we can also use #eDNA to study hybridisation among species, giving more insight in #evolution

I love seeing more examples of soil eDNA for macroorganism detection!

I keep meaning to tweet about this collaboration. Nice when someone else does it! These are incredible birds specialising on migratory passerines. Whether or not the migrants become food for falcons is influenced strongly by wind. I learned a lot about from Laura Gangosa!
