Decided to have fun with Context7 MCP today by building a Nextjs SaaS boilerplate I wanted to do that for quite some time and I was amazed by the speed at which I could setup everything using the MCP What I got in only 2 hours: - Nextjs + Shadcn - Better-Auth for

Why serverless? We have a HackerNews bot tweeting daily summaries. Built by an intern who left the company. Untouched for months. Still works perfectly. Zero downtime. Zero maintenance. Zero cost. That's the serverless promise delivered. Upstash Workflow + Vercel

good practice on LLM prompting: Ask scores (1-10) instead of yes/no. So you can tune it later depending on your expectation.

this weekend i will work on improving apidoc parsing for context7. right now, it is quiet successful on extracting code snippets. not much with apidocs.

nothing beats the satisfaction of using a tool you built for others 🤩 just migrated all my OpenAI clients to the official Gemini SDKs using Cursor + Context7 — smooth execution, zero errors

Introducing context7.json - an open standard to make your docs available to AI 🎉 ◆ Control how Context7 parses your docs ◆ Set rules and best practices ◆ Control what gets indexed Just like robots.txt, but for your documentation 👇

Vertex AI (Google Gemini) combines quotas of tenants into a single pool 😤 If number of users spike, you can get blocked even your load is the same. They document this with a cool name 🤦🏻 DSQ -> Dynamic shared quota more resources with less predictability is worse!

The best use of an MCP I've seen yet: Context7 providing fresh docs to coding agents. I'm toying with Next.js without really knowing Next.js and Claude would occasionally use a deprecated API. I added the Context7 MCP and the issues are gone!
