Tomorrow is a big day for Big T. He is having a big operation and his life depends on it. We’ve built him up and are hopeful but he could do with some 🤞 or prayers or thoughts or whatever you do for luck (1/5) 🧵

When he came in 6 days ago he couldn’t even carry his own weight. His huge tumor was full of maggots and the old boy was close to death. We’ve spent the week building his strength so he could have a chance with an operation (2/5)

As you can see his strength has come back. The problem is with a tumor that large we also need to act. The vets say the procedure is risky given his age, illness and general state. But it has to be tried. (3/5)

He has been eating great. He feels nice about himself and he has slept lots to get his energy back. Tomorrow he’ll not all his strength as it will be a fight for his future in that operating room. (4/5)

I’m very nervous for him. These decisions are very hard and made with the best hope and love. His survival is not a formality at all. The big guy needs to put up a huge fight so he can enjoy a peaceful retirement 🥰🙏 (5/5)
