Visited NYC DOT's new 1st Ave #bikenyc express route ("the UNGA Tunnel") and grabbed a few quick clips to further explain to all how it works. For those wondering you can stay local above on 1st Ave or go express from 41st to 49th. Fun! Streetsblog New York Open Plans Bike New York

"Jersey City deserves a fresh start– free from the past and with a vision for our future. Jersey City deserves a government as good as its people. I, alone, cannot deliver that, but *together* we can.” - James Solomon

Jersey City has started an incredible experiment to deter Turnpike traffic *and* make Columbus Dr safer for commuters & kids: No left-turns going north on Columbus between 6am-9am. It's finally *faster* to stay on the Turnpike vs cutting-through JC. Thank you Mayor Steven Fulop

Just 2 days ago Donald Trump said he’s gonna protect women whether they like it or not? Donnie please... Protection for women, especially if we're talking about maternal and mental healthcare, isn't telling them WHAT to do with their bodies it's supporting them and giving them

We all know Trump was a hustler, but hustling women out of the rights to THEIR OWN body is nasty work!! Hustling Americans out of their hard earned money by selling $500 Trump Sneakers, $60 Trump Bibles, and $100,000 Trump Watches is even nastier!! Tomorrow he’ll be hustling you

.Mikie Sherrill: If this is your plan for NJ TRANSIT, you're planning to fail: "a combination of...resources in [NJ] and more money coming in from Washington." There won't be federal support under Trump, but NJ's governor can stop an $11B Turnpike widening and use that money.

Investing in a PATH expansion and other transit solutions, like bus-only lanes and light rail, will benefit the entire region by alleviating traffic and reducing emissions and crashes. Thank you Steven Fulop Ravinder S. Bhalla Rob Menendez Assemblywoman Barbara McCann Stamato and John Allen

Steven Fulop I am paid to work on the Turnpike widening project for my job and I would be happy to see it canceled. It seems completely unnecessary to widen the least congested part of the highway, more and better transit service instead, please!

Let's be clear. The Turnpike Authority's plan is not a safety project. It *doubles* the number of lanes to 8 with two bridges for $6.7B. Repair was the NJTA's own proposal, just $260M for 40-years of life. Mayor Steven Fulop is right – repair not expand. newjerseyglobe.com/governor/fulop…
