Man flu is definitely genetic. My son has been raised with very limited male influences, and yet he is currently dying of a cold. The example he gets from me is rest, take your medicine and drink yet he argues all of this while still dying.

So this little lump is now a long(ish) haired, 5ft6 teenager. Lego, mechano, PS4 games, chocolate caramel brownies and chicken and bacon pasta are all that is needed to keep him happy.

Trying to fill out a job application while teaching a teen about glaciation is stressful. He hates geography so trying to get him to engage is not easy. Unfortunately his teachers spent Xmas trying to figure out how to mass test 1000+ teens instead of planning remote learning

Why can't job applications just be 'I'm good, let me show you.' I hate trying to sell myself.

Seem to be having a competition with my son on who can procrastinate the best (him geography, me job application). I'm winning because of experience, but he's putting up a credible challenge.

So proud of myself. I preempted the angsty faze of a teenage boy and watched episodes from all the angsty teen dramas I could find before he started flicking through and asking if they were suitable to watch 🙋🏻‍♀️

Regular people get their mum flowers and suchlike for mothers day. Me and Chris got mum a lego brickheadz Frankenstein monster.

I have to say, I was dreading having a teenager, but this one's pretty good. He can do flat pack furniture and move sofas around.

Parents, do you think we should be able to sit the same exams as our kids? I mean, we help with home work and end up taking crash courses in the subject, so I think we should be allowed to get the qualification too.
