I’m scared to finish ‘Cathy, get yer Dancin Shoes Oan’ because I’ve never spent a decade on a novel before. I don’t want to let the characters go, even though the arc of the story is finally where it should be. These thoughts are good though - they mean I’m getting there!

The hard thing about writing and putting yourself out there, even just as a human, is accepting that if you’re meant to have something, you will in time. A decade ago I was still writing as much as I am today, but I was nowhere near a book deal. Now I have signed four books.
