Just now at Delancey and Norfolk in the Lower East Side an accident ran over a pedestrian trapping them under an SUV. Onlookers just lifted the SUV, dragging the victim out.

We are okay, but a major tornado just hit near us in Nashville and a lot of incredible businesses and homes are completely destroyed. Please pray for Nashville 🙏

Report is that Nashville Farmer’s Market is opening up as a shelter for anyone who needs it following the tornado

Pray for these emergency personnel, that they would quickly be led to all of those that are missing in these collapses.

We’re all obviously heartbroken for everyone who lost their business or their home, but let’s not forget about Nashville’s homeless community after the tornado. Must have been terrifying to be outside for that & to lose what little shelter they may have had via tents, tarps, etc.

Give love, comfort, respect. Listen. Understand. Hearing about loss of life. Some families lost homes, students lost schools, workers lost businesses, let’s meet those needs whether they are tangible, emotional, spiritual. Together. Give to @redcross and Hands On.

Please be mindful when parking in neighborhoods impacted by the storm. It is critical for recovery efforts that emergency/repair vehicles have access to areas in need.

We sincerely appreciate all of the relief volunteers in East Nashville today, but this aerial photo from this afternoon illustrates why folks are being asked to park on unimpacted streets. A debris collection truck would find it very difficult to do work here. #NashvilleStrong
