So excited I've managed to get two tickets to see Florence + the Machine perform BBC Proms on September 11th (which will mark the 33rd year of my HIV diagnosis). Clicked online at 9am, I was about 700 in the queue, purchased tix within 15 minutes so credit to Royal Albert Hall website.

My annual visit to Balcarras School to speak with Year 10 about living with #HIV . Sharing experiences from diagnosis in 1991 to long-term survivor today. Another great group of students, excellent questions asked and everyone getting to hear about #UequalsU .

We are pleased to see the government announcing this much needed science based policy change.

We have worked with National AIDS Trust BASHH BHIVA and many more to ensure real change for people with HIV.

Albanian medical students looking for volunteers to practice taking blood pressure in the park today. All spoke excellent English so took the opportunity to do a bit of HIV education through sharing my positive status and the #UequalsU message.

Sometimes it's good to switch off from HIV related work and take a break. A school talk got postponed freeing up a few days to get away. Have flown to Tirana, Albania to explore a new city with my fiancé B. Photo at the top of the Pyramid.

Saw my #HIV consultant this morning and got 4 months worth of my #antiretrovirals . Have reverted to a boosted PI regime and feel much better for it. Undetectable viral load and almost all other blood tests in range. Cholesterol and LDL now reduced due to diet change & exercise.

I want to say something to the people with mental health conditions that have got in touch with me worried / panicked about the govt news on possible benefits changes... NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.

- The govt has put out a green paper. That is an EARLY STAGE consultation document.

What a superb team performance from QPR FC last night. Very happy to secure our place in the Championship for next season. Been supporting the Rs since my diagnosis when the club gave free tickets for our Positive Youth group to attend a game in early 1990s.

Visited Hurtwood House yesterday to share my Positive Voice HIV talk with a fantastic Year 12 audience. Lots of laughter as well as some more thoughtful moments. Everyone got to hear about #UequalsU and PREP as well as experiences from my 33 Year journey from diagnosis to today.
