Last question (for now): do I know anyone who uses PupilLabs eye tracking glasses (specifically PupilCore) who has been able to stream data into MATLAB, either using pupil-helpers (github.com/pupil-labs/pup…) or something else like tcp/ip?

#ActuallyAutistic folx, what are your favorite socks? Looking for some #autism-friendly recs in both child & adult sizes. Bonus points if they have grippy bottoms! 🧦🧦🧦🧦🧦🧦🧦🧦🧦

There were Oxford school shooting survivors on campus tonight at Michigan State University. This country has gotten to the point where we have school shooting survivor veterans. Let that sink in💔

3+ years into a pandemic, the general public is still generally confused about what to do when they test positive for COVID19. So let me walk you through what I, an infectious disease epidemiologist public health nurse, am doing since I tested positive on a rapid antigen today.

Serious question: how do people get any work done in an open, shared office space with constant noise and conversations? I usually wear noise canceling headphones but forgot them at home today.

#Autistic folx, how often do you fall? (Comment w/more context if willing!) The University of Michigan MVD Lab is trying to plan how detailed of a fall history we need to ask in a new study…poll results won’t be published, this will just help inform our design so it aligns w/community experiences.

NSF-funded postdoc position in AZ with my collaborator Matt O'Neill Matthew ONeill focused on the evolution of hominin walking and running using a combination of experimental and musculoskeletal modeling approaches. Retweets appreciated! recruiting.ultipro.com/MID1016/JobBoa…

New Perspective on #userpreference in prosthetics and exoskeletons. Preference is noisy and tricky to quantify, but contains unique information for researchers trying to develop user-optimal solutions. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Sometimes your MoCap data needs minimal gap filling, aaand sometimes it looks like this 🫠 how’s everyone else’s Monday going?

Emily Klinkman (@emklinkman) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Question for biomechanics friends who record EMG data in Vicon during MoCap (to later be used in OpenSim): how do you filter and export the EMG data? Do you filter within Vicon and export? Or do you export separately, apply a filter, and read into OpenSim? Thanks in advance :)

This is a long shot since this place has been an academic wasteland as of late: Do any of my biomechanics/robotics followers use Biometrics SG110/SG150 goniometers? If so, would you be willing to chat about how you account for low signal-to-noise ratio w/small signal output? Ty!
